Overview

New version of TruckTool with major improvements and changes. This version fully replaces the previous diagnostic
tools "The Diagnozer" and “Up-Time”.

Some older models not included in TruckTool are included in the installation package as legacy launchers that can be started
from TruckTool truck selection view. This includes models supported under "Diagnostics Tool".

"The Diagnozer", “Up-Time” or "Diagnostics Tool" installation is not required for launchers to work.

New cables are not needed, same cables that were used with "The Diagnozer", “Up-Time” and “Diagnostics Tool” will be used also with TruckTool.

Truck model automatic detection for trucks using GSE connector.
Converter for old .GSE files to .TTP files.
Translation support. See next chapter for supported languages.

Less clicking on wizards.

All wizards steps that do not specifically need user input have been changed to continue automatically. This will improve the speed of most wizards and reduce unnecessary user input for running them.

Installer improvements.

Fixed issue where installer failed for users with special admin access rights to their computer.

Offline usage time and password validity time extended

The time password is valid is now 120 days and the time TruckTool is usable without internet connection is now 60 days.

TTP edit mode

TTP editor allows you to view and edit imported TruckTool2 parameter files using the same UI that is used when you are connected to truck. TTP files now also contain online event log and error history for easier diagnostics. TTP edit mode can be started from Settings view.

Recording view

Recording view allows you to record and draw graphs from truck parameter values in real time. You can select multiple parameter values at the same time and they can be saved to file for later analysis.

Error code list

In Events view there is now option to view all possible error codes for selected truck model. Searching and filtering is also possible.

New features and improvements

Flash view separated from Wizards view.
Visual improvements to Wizards view.
New filtering options to Settings & I/O views.
Options view allows user to configure logging options and auto save feature.
Logout no longer requires TruckTool restart.

Changed installer technology to better cope with networks that use proxies. Installer now a
